Okay, it's oft been explored in movies how fish must perceive 'the world above' with it's nasty dry waterless environment and strange creatures.

Wonder what worms think about 'the world above' though? I mean if you spend your life in complete darkness entirely cocooned in a soft yeilding substance (a bit like being buried alive), what must it be like poking your head above the surface to a horrible bare environment where you don't have that comforting pressure and warmth (or perhaps cool) and moisture.

No-one ever makes Disney films about worms do they? I wonder why...?
