Okay, it's oft been explored in movies how fish must perceive 'the world above' with it's nasty dry waterless environment and strange creatures.
Wonder what worms think about 'the world above' though? I mean if you spend your life in complete darkness entirely cocooned in a soft yeilding substance (a bit like being buried alive), what must it be like poking your head above the surface to a horrible bare environment where you don't have that comforting pressure and warmth (or perhaps cool) and moisture. No-one ever makes Disney films about worms do they? I wonder why...?

Imagine that when you passed on, you lost your sense of body and became a nebulous cloud that get gently swept over the sky so you could look down on everything. Yes I know clouds are raindrops but it would make a good poem where a missed relative is always hanging in the sky looking down, even in blue skies - maybe it could be a kid who has decided a cloud is his grandad. I like that. If i can write it, I must dedicate it to Grandad.
