This did the rounds quite a while ago but I still love these um...alternative knitting patterns. I tried to trace the original source (a surfing journey that took me to many wierd and wonderful places such as Stitch and Bitch and the Croqueted Nudes of Ming-Yi Sung) but now there only seems to be numerous links to numerous blog pages. The creator should consider exhibiting though, if they aren't already (or aren't locked up for sociopathic style crimes...)

Pub Snack Mix

Ingredients:
1 Bag of crisps
1 Bag of peanuts

Preparation:

When you get your round in, purchase the ingredients above. Back at the table, open the bag of crisps carefully at the top. Rip open the peanuts bag and pour contents into the crisp bag then hold the top closed and shake. Finally, lay the crisp bag on the table and open it up further, along its seam, to present the contents. Push into the middle of the table to make a dramatic centrepiece that everyone can enjoy. Serve with lager.

NB many different variations in flavour can be created by mixing what type of crisp is mixed with what type of peanut (incl dry roast). Not advisable to substitue any ingredient with pork scratchings unless very close to closing time.
